Product Details
Experience authentic British craftsmanship with our premium Gansey jumper, meticulously produced entirely within Britain from farm to factory. Inspired by traditional fisherman’s sweaters from historic Cornish fishing villages, this piece features classic stitch patterns that honor maritime heritage. The design showcases a contemporary boxy silhouette with comfortable drop shoulders and T sleeves, finished with a refined ribbed and rolled collar. Intricate paneled stitch patterns adorn the upper half, while the seamless “knitted in the round” construction ensures superior comfort and durability, just like the original fisherman’s jumpers. Crafted from undyed natural wool fibers, this sweater provides exceptional warmth in chilly weather while maintaining breathability for all-day comfort.

Care
Washing Instructions
Hand Wash only
When washing by hand, avoid twisting or wringing as this may damage the wool. Do not use fabric conditioner when washing. To remove excess water from the garment we recommend wrapping it in a towel and gently squeezing it before leaving the item to dry. Do not put on a spin cycle. Lay the product out flat to dry, do not hang your wool garments. Allow to dry naturally away from all artificial heat sources.
Care & Cleaning Products
Pilling
Clothing made from natural fibres can occasionally ‘pill’. These little balls of fibre or ‘pills’ are created as the smaller fibres in the twist of yarn naturally shed with wear. This will lessen as you wash and wear your garment. Until then, they can be gently removed with our Pilling Comb.
